Doctors exist to care for lives, not to interrupt them. We are creating the preconditions for a culture of death in which society loses the light of reason.
When the father gave a graphic description of what he claimed was being taught, he was asked by the Chair of the event to tone down his language. He responded by saying if it’s not suitable to talk about with adults, “how can it possibly be suitable to talk about in schools?”
Particularly important is to choose not to have cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Designed specifically for cardiac patients, it was never intended to reverse death for patients in general. If the most successful American public universities are any guide, when it comes to international students, 10% adds diversity to the student body, 15% is the maximum reasonable level, and 20% represents internationalisation gone wild. In Australia, the average level of international students across the entire university system is 26.7%. By any reasonable standard, that’s too high.
