At 00.45 on 2 June 2020, St. Louis Police Department reported that four of their officers had been shot, and that there was an ongoing shooting incident. This comes after peaceful protests were overtaken by looting and rioting at various locations throughout the city.

Colonel John W. Hayden, Jr., Police Commissioner for the city of St. Louis, the four officers hit have non-life-threatening injuries. Two of them were shot in the leg, one was shot in the foot and another was shot in the arm.

According to the police chief, a peaceful protest with a couple of thousand marchers was followed by an attack by a separate group of around two hundred people who started “jumping up and down like crazy people”.

They started throwing things. They started looting all over the town.

We had to protect our headquarters building.

They were throwing fireworks on officers. Fireworks were exploding on officers. We had officers that had gas1 poured on them. […]

People are just trying to steal and break windows. I don’t understand what that has to do with Mr. Floyd’s death.

In Las Vegas meanwhile, a police officer was reported to have been shot in the head. According to USA Today, the officer, who has not been identified, is currently on life support at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas has been the scene of numerous incidents of looting, with a wide range of retail businesses being targeted.

The incidents come as protests have now taken place in over 200 towns and cities throughout the United States. There is increasing evidence that the riots are being orchestrated by radical leftist organisations, while clearly some of the looting appears to be opportunistic and driven by police departments’ light touch approach to enforcement of looting incidents.

The growing disorder has led to calls for President Trump and city mayors to toughen their approach to radical and violent elements who are exploiting the protests to create a climate of anarchy and lawlessness.

  1. Arrest arrest arrest. Let’s bankrupt the leftist domestic terrorists such as soros and the democratic party by having them bail out as well as pay the legal and property destruction costs for their terrorists.
